We conducted pile dynamic load test (Restrike Test) on 350x350mm R.C Squared Pile (30.0m in length) utilizing Allnamics Geotechnical & Pile Testing Experts ‘s PDA/DLT PDR machine and all in one combined transducer !
Pile Integrity Test was done utilizing Piletest’s PET machine, in free pile to ensure the stress wave velocity of the pile and the integrity condition of the pile before and after the test.
The result is 4000m/s for 6m free pile.
The required drop height is eatimated using Hiley’s formula to ensure the energy impact given to pile head doesn’t exceed the concrete’s compressive strength.
The dynamic load testing result was satisfactory.
The measured result was later signal matched by Allwave DLT software package (equivalent to PDI’s Capwap) to predict the staic load testing behaviors of the pile under given loading conditions utilizing the data from subsoil profile .
The upward and downward waves are signal matched to obtain the staic load testing behaviors.
Moreover, 7 days after the PDA test conducted, the same pile was undergone static load test and we could able to calibrate the results between PDA’s result and SLT’s result.
The resutls are almost identical and thus PDA can be performed for remaining piles at the given project.
